Missing Paychecks

If you did NOT receive your paycheck:

Please take the following steps:

1. Check UCPath to see if pay was issued (instructions for where to look in UCPath can be found in article KB0011686).
   • If you do not see a paystub > Contact the EEC at eec@uci.edu or 949.824.0500, M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
2. If you DO see a paystub, please check the box at the bottom of your paystub titled “Net Pay Distribution” to identify how the payment was sent to you.
   • “Checking” indicates it was sent via direct deposit
   • “Savings” indicates it was sent via direct deposit
   • “Issue Chk” indicates a paper check was mailed to your home address listed in UCPath
     • Note: It may take up to 5 business days for USPS to deliver a physical paycheck

Direct Deposit Information

Paychecks are credited to your bank account on payday. The actual time of deposit varies according to the bank’s practices. Contact your bank for more information. To enroll in or view your direct deposit information, go to the UCPath Online Direct Deposit page:

Paper Check Information

Paper checks are mailed to the home address (not mailing address) in UCPath and may take several weeks to arrive via USPS. To view or update your home address, go to the UCPath Online Personal Information Summary page:

Left-Hand Menu Navigation:

Employee Actions > Personal Actions > Personal Information Summary

Note: If you do not receive your paper check within 5 business days of the pay date OR if your Home Address is listed incorrectly on UCPath, contact the EEC at eec@uci.edu or 949.824.0500, M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
