Follow these steps to apply the latest security updates for SAS. If you work in a managed department, partner with your CSC as they will have to perform the installation for you.
- Visit our SharePoint site and navigate to the "SAS Security Updates" folder for the version of SAS you're using.
- Download the ZIP file to your Downloads folder, and extract the contents to that same folder.
- Open a command prompt window as an administrator and navigate to the folder that was created when you unzipped the file. Look for a file called install.bat.
- Copy the following command and right-click to paste it into the command prompt window: install.bat "C:\Program Files\SASHome\"
- If you're using PowerShell, the syntax is .\install.bat "C:\Program Files\SASHome\"
- Copy and paste the command instead of typing it out for best results!
- Follow the prompts to complete the update.
